Ondo Finance held discussions with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Asset Working Group to push forward regulatory frameworks for tokenizing publicly traded securities. The conversation focused on adapting existing financial regulations to blockchain-based wrapped assets.

The company proposed a framework addressing registration, broker-dealer compliance, and market oversight challenges. Legal experts from Davis Polk & Wardwell joined Ondo’s leadership in exploring potential sandbox arrangements that balance innovation with investor protections.
